World's most expensive golf clubs revealed 13th June 2005
The world's most expensive golf clubs have been unveiled today.
Made by Honma, a Japanese company that produces high quality kit, the golf clubs are worth £19,980.
The Twin Marks MG-R18 5-Star Amazing Spec irons include features made from 24-carat gold and platinum detailing, according to Today's Golfer, July 2005.
Gold makes up the cavity of each head, as well as gold and platinum rings and a gold ingot in the grip cap.
The sets are made to order and a host of stars and royalty already own the luxury items.
Platinum is increasingly being used for luxury goods including platinum mobile phones and platinum nail polish.
