A concept model of the Fine-X fuel cell hybrid vehicle, a COMS electric car and two prototypes – one powered by lithium and the other by hydrogen – will represent Toyota at the symposium.
And two cut-away display models of the GS450h and the FCV-Bus will demonstrate how the latest hybrid and hydrogen technology is fitted into the body of each car.
Daihatsu will bring its so-called HIJET Cargo hybrid, in addition to two prototypes – its Tanto fuel cell hybrid vehicle and the Copen electric vehicle concept.
Hino will present a production model of the Dutro hybrid truck.
Some of the vehicles will be available for the public to test, to demonstrate the seamlessness of hybrid power as well as the silence and cleanliness of hydrogen fuel cell engines, which emit only water.
