Tiffany plans new Bologna store 20th August 2007

High-end jewellery retailer, Tiffany, has announced plans to launch a new boutique in Bologna.

The jeweller has revealed it plans to open the new store in November this year and will offer its usual array of fine jewellery collections, including designs by Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger and Frank Gehry.

This latest store is to be located in the heart of Bologna's luxury shopping area and will be Tiffany's fourth boutique in Italy, with other stores situated in Milan, Rome and Florence.

"With its luxury shopping, fine restaurants and thriving business and residential community, Bologna is a natural setting for a Tiffany boutique," said Cesare Settepassi, Vice President of Tiffany & Co Europe.

He added: "We've secured an ideal location on Galleria Cavour, an upscale shopping area that fits perfectly with our own plans for bringing Tiffany quality, craftsmanship and superior service to this sophisticated market."
