The world famous jeweller Tiffany & Co. is to launch a new line of platinum jewellery in Dubai.

Along with its partner Damas, it launched the Elsa Peretti collections in the city at a press conference held in the Tiffany store in Mall of the Emirates.

Elsa Peretti is one of the world's most prominent designers, who is known for her use of nature in her pieces.

The platinum featured jewellery and accessories are available for men and women and her designs are intended to compliment contemporary life, combined with simplicity.

"Our association with Tiffany & Co. is just another step towards our commitment to offer our customers the best and most exclusive designs and jewellery," said Mr. Tawhid Abdullah, managing director of Damas.

"At Damas, we believe that our select clientele makes informed choices, and we ensure that their preferences are met with in the best possible manner."

Last month, Tiffany launched a new men's jewellery line in the Middle East, in which platinum was again a prominently used material.
