To mark the recent Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, a firm has unveiled a specially crafted platinum smartphone costing £23,050.

Goldgenie has launched its Royal Wedding iPhone collection, which features one device with a solid platinum rear with VS1 8.5 carat diamond and sapphire bezel, as well as Apple logo embellished sides and buttons with the London Assay Office hallmark.

The bezel has been set with sapphire and diamonds similar to the late Princess Diana's wedding ring, which was given to the new Duchess of Cambridge.

"We have incorporated our London Assay Office hallmark onto the solid rose gold rear of the Royal iPhone 4 platinum/diamond rim and sapphire and logo, making this not only a valuable investment but a rare collector's item as only a limited edition of 50 will ever be produced across our Gold Platinum and Rose Gold releases," the firm said.

The Royal iPhone is SIM free and can be used on all networks throughout the world.
