Jubilee Platinum and Braemore Resources have entered into a binding Heads of Agreement concerning the processing of platinum group element (pge) concentrates.

Braemore's expertise will be lent to Jubilee to help with smelting and refining.

Using the its ConRoast technology, Braemore will add greater value to the concentrates, the source of which Jubilee has the rights to recover, through ensuring exposure to downstream beneficiation and upside value.

According to Leon Coetzer, CEO of Braemore, the collaboration is evidence of the progress being made by the company.

"This is a new dawn in Braemore's evolution," he commented.

"We are no longer a technology or development company; the acceleration of ConRoast's commercialisation is now well underway."

Meanwhile, Colin Bird, CEO of Jubilee, is hopeful that the venture will prove a success both in terms of maximising revenue and achieving short-term production goals.

Braemore has also announced plans to restructure its demonstration smelting facility in light of the current market conditions.
