Platmin Limited has said that it is yet to receive confirmation from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) of its delisting date.

The junior platinum group metals miner had stated its desire to voluntary delist from the TSX and expected this to take effect today (December 15th).

Platmin said it will provide a further announcement following receipt of the TSX confirmation of the delisting date.

At the same as the firm removes its shares from the TSX as its primary listing, it is also working with the JSE to terminate its secondary listing there.

In a statement to investors on December 5th, Platmin said the delisting was "in the best interests of the company" and would support the consolidation of its properties in the Pilanesburg area.

"Platmin believes that its trading price is not representative of the inherent value of its business, owing to a number of factors, including relatively low liquidity and trading turnover," the firm said.

In addition to the Pilanesburg Platinum Mine, which is building up to full production, Platmin has platinum interests on the eastern limb of South Africa's Bushveld Complex.
