Platinum Guild International (PGI) has announced that it will once again be holding its annual platinum jewellery red carpet event ahead of the Golden Globes.

The Golden Globe awards will be held in January 2007 and will again seek to bestow prizes on some of the top names in Hollywood for their films over the past year.

PGI will bring together some of the top platinum designers for the occasion, such as previous attendees Neil Lane, Erica Courtney and the Hammerman Brothers, to offer a wide variety of platinum items to some of the biggest celebrities in the world.

PGI-USA's red carpet events have already helped over 250 celebrities to look their best on awards night, dressed in platinum jewellery.

Commenting on the continuing success of the red carpet events, PGI-USA's senior vice president, Michael O'Connor, said: "As well as helping garner media attention for designers, the Jewelry Previews achieve exposure with celebrities, stylists, and fashion influencers within the Hollywood community."
