PGI announces JCK platinum jewellery winners in Las Vegas 8th June 2011

Platinum Guild International (PGI) has announced the winners of the second annual JCK 2011 Platinum Innovation Awards in Las Vegas.

From 180 entries, retailers voted for their favourite designs in six categories, as well as for two overall prizes.

Stuller won in the modern platinum engagement ring category and took the best in show award.

Uneek Fine Jewelry Collections came top of the entry platinum engagement ring category, which is for semi-mounts that retail for under $2,500.

Lieberfarb won in the vintage-inspired platinum engagement ring category, while Carlex by Crownring took the honours in the platinum wedding band category.

The platinum fashion ring award went to a design by John Apel, and A Jaffe won in the platinum fashion earrings category

Finally, the editor's choice category, one of the overall awards, went to Parade Designs for a platinum and diamond engagement ring.
