Norilsk Nickel wins Russian platinum export licence 27th April 2007
Russian authorities have given Norilsk Nickel a platinum export licence
Reports in the Russian media claim that a licence was issued by the country's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Ministry until the end of 2008 for exports of platinum and pgm metals rhodium, iridium, ruthenium and osmium
Norilsk Nickel currently has a palladium licence valid until 2008, but its right to export other pgms passed at the end of last year.
A source in the Russian ministry told Mineweb that the licences were issued on April 23rd.
