Nevoro completes Stillwater transaction with Kria Resources 28th August 2009
Nevoro revealed on Wednesday (26th August) that it has purchased Kria Resources' property, plant and equipment assets at the Stillwater Complex.
The transaction, which was originally announced on 15th June, takes Nevoro's mineral properties at the Montana-based site to over 18,000 acres (more than 7,300 hectares).
Victor Bradley, Executive Chairman of the firm, expressed his delight at the news and also revealed that it will benefit shareholders in merger partner Starfield Resources.
He said: "This transaction successfully consolidates Nevoro's land position in the Stillwater area, covering all known mineral occurrences outside of the Stillwater Mine itself.
"The enlarged property package will add substantially to the Nevoro assets brought to the merger with Starfield Resources Inc."
All the identified deposits and the vast majority of the exploration targets outside the JM Reef region - which borders Nevoro's existing interests - are included in the deal.
On top of its Montana project, Nevoro also runs the Moonlight copper project in California and eight gold exploration projects in Nevada.
