Johnson Matthey reveals improvements to catalysis handbook 3rd November 2009
Johnson Matthey has announced a range of additions to the new version of its Pharmaceutical Catalysis Handbook.
The company is a world leader in the catalysis sector and has operations in over 30 countries, including manufacturing and research facilities in the UK, US, Europe, China and India.
However, it is continually aiming to improve its flagship publications and has added extensive product listings - including a new chiral homogeneous catalysts section - to the latest edition of its handbook.
In addition, readers will also be treated to an expanded chemistry section, focusing on palladium-catalysed cross coupling, asymmetric hydrogenation and catalytic deprotection, plus an extensive reference section.
"We are committed to providing our customers with the best technology for optimising catalytic processes," said the company.
"This new edition of our technical handbook focuses on the latest catalytic technologies that drive processes in the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industries."
Johnson Matthey further crystallised its commitment to the catalysis sector last year through the €214 million (£192.2 million) purchase of specialist firm Argillon.
