ETF Securities sees platinum and palladium ETC holdings rise 28th April 2009
ETF Securities revealed yesterday (27th April) that holdings in its London platinum and palladium exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) rose by 2.4 per cent and 4.4 per cent respectively last week.
The company confirmed that the amount of metal it uses to back its PHPT.L platinum ETC increased by 8,000 oz to 347,596 oz in the week to 24th April, Reuters reports.
In addition, the London-based ETC specialist - which has assets worth about $9.6 billion - saw holdings in its palladium-backed product (PHPD.L) increase roughly 11,000 oz to 262,973 oz.
