Duluth Metals has reported "strong" drill results from its Twin Metals Project in Minnesota after assays revealed high grades of platinum and palladium.

The firm announced 40 feet of 2.268 g/t total precious metals following its most recent exploration work at the project.

"These positive drill results continue to be extremely encouraging," commented Vern Baker, president of Duluth Metals.

"They show good grades and strongly indicate the expansion potential of the Central and Eastern High Grade Zones."

He added: "Overall the development drilling also shows the strong pgm component of the project."

The Twin Metals Project covers over 25,000 acres of land and mineral interests in Minnesota and delivers a platform to develop one the world's largest copper, nickel, pgm deposits within the emerging mining belt.

Duluth Metals said a new AMEC resource study will be completed by February.
