Clean Diesel clinches UK deal 20th December 2006
Clean Diesel International has announced that it has signed an agreement with a UK commercial fleet to provide it with its Platinum Plus fuel-borne catalysts.
Road haulage firm Burgoynes has become Clean Diesel's first UK customer for its Platinum Plus DFX product, which will be applied across Burgoynes' fleet.
The deal could help Clean Diesel's Platinum Plus DFX to expand into the UK market, with its average fuel saving of five per cent making it an attractive solution for British companies, particularly as the European Union considers imposing stricter emissions regulations across the continent.
Tim Rogers, Managing Director of Clean Diesel International, said: "The contract win proves the increasing demand for our products and we look forward to working with the road transport industry to develop these opportunities."
The agreement was signed following a successful test of Clean Diesel's Platinum Plus DFX product on a number of Burgoynes' heavy goods vehicles.
Mr Rogers added: "We are pleased that our trials have demonstrated the benefits of Clean Diesel's products as well as their excellent performance for fleets."
