African Platinum (Afplats) has announced the appointment of KPMG Audit as its auditor in preparation for its listing on the US stock exchange.

The company also announced this morning that it expects to release its audited annual results in August.

Afplats is hoping its US listing will help secure further investments from North American investors.

The company also revealed that a pre-feasibility study at its flagship Leeuwkop project in the western limb of the South African Bushveld Complex would be published shortly.

The current mineral resource is 50 million ounces 4E - the three platinum group metals plus gold, Afplats said.
